At the heart of the Portes du Soleil, an area of 650 km of ski slopes opens its doors for a high quality skiing.
The GETS,it is also a sledding area, a skating rink and offered many activities throughout the year. Coming to GETS is also discover a typical mountain village in the Alps with its activities and traditions.

WINTER SAISON : VILLAGE LES GETS
Les Gets is part of the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area. This immense outdoor playground includes 12 Franco-Swiss resorts, 650 km of pistes, 195 lifts, 267 marked pistes, 243 km of cross-country skiing, 9 snow parks, 400 mountain meadow chalets and 1,200 ski instructors.

In Les Gets, ski right out of the village to have snowy fun amidst the fur trees and mountain meadows. Choose between 2 ski resorts, on either side of the village: Les Chavannes, linked to the Portes du Soleil and Mont Chéry, an exceptional view of the Mont Blanc Massif.
The ski area offers pistes suited to all ability levels, Nordic skiing trails, a beginners' zone, a Wild West winter sports area for children, and numerous high-altitude restaurants. As for freestyle, the "Déborah Anthonioz" boardercross slope dedicated to the Olympic silver medal winner of the 2010 Vancouver Games and the "Jib District" where everyone can try a new snow sport.

Green transportation in the village
Les Gets doesn’t only enjoy exceptional panoramic views and top quality air. It is also an easily accessible tourist destination, thanks to its proximity to railway stations and the motorway network. Once you are in the village, you let your car parked and walk, take shuttle buses or use the little train, in a safe environment… Here are the different possibilities in the village:
- Free shuttles during the day
- The night shuttle service, from 6.30 to 11 pm.
- The Balad'Aulps Bus, facilitate sightseeing and visits to the principal tourist attractions in the region (between Les Gets and Le Jotty).
- The little train that drives every day between the ski areas of Mont Chery and Chavannes.

Enjoy the nightlife in the village ! From 20th December 2014 to 29th March 2015, discover the shuttle service for Les Gets and surroundings hamlets, every day from 6.30pm till 11pm.
